My snake hast eaten anything frozen even though I've tried mice rats and quail and he ate the ASF immediately. I would recommend this to anyone trying to switch a snake from live to frozen.

I bought these for the 1st time, to see if I could get one of my ball pythons to break his 19 week hunger strike... they did! He latched right on, and thankfully he's eaten again! If these are what it takes to keep him eating, I'm all for becoming a new customer! They arrived quickly and I was impressed with how they're packed for shipment, as well as the quality. He didn’t like regular mice and rats but goes wild over asf rats. Shipping was fast packing was perfect and the asf are delicious.
Snakes approved immediately so there was no debate at all. Everything was packed well and came in perfect shape. No complaints, just a successful transaction and some very happy reptiles.

This was our first time ordering from Prey Direct and we couldn’t be happier with our order! It was also all (7) of our ball pythons first time on ASFs and they all took them immediately. Way better feeding response than with the rats they were on! We definitely plan to order from here again!
Bolo the Boa loved his first AFT Rat. No issues taking it! The case of ten came frozen in biodegradable packaging with dry ice. No missing tails or limbs, the rats are frozen and fresh. Competitive prices. I just wish the sizing was a bit more specific/customizable. The listed weight range is wide and most of them came in at the lower end ~21g. Not a huge deal, but I'm particular about making sure to weigh each prey item and feed recommended sizes to my snake.
Had an adult ball python, who was previously astoundingly picky about the color of his food, completely go off for around a YEAR! I finally got him some ASFs and he is so addicted now that he begs for food almost every day!

Using AFS has been terrific! Honestly way better than rats, they both get the job done ! but something I've noticed feeding ASF when the snakes have a bowel movement it's not nearly as overwhelming as feeding rats. The smell is not nearly as bad,, we will continue to use prey direct !!
I've been buying frozen rats for a long time and these are the best quality I've ever gotten! Very clean and I love the resealable freezer bag. Just perfect! Rats were drive on time and still very frozen. I couldn't be happier.
The AFS's I have received are perfect!! They are real similar to a good size mouse, when it comes to the small ASF, they're perfect for my 200 to 400 g ball pythons.. they are so fresh when I unthaw them snakes cannot resist. I will continue to buy AFS!!!

Order arrived timely and well frozen. It was easy to remove a single ASF out of the 10 pack. They did not stick together. Our Ball python was finally eating after a very long hunger strike!
I was kind of nervous about getting the ASFs for my snake as she's never eaten rats in the 17 years I've had her and hasn't eaten anything besides gerbils/hamsters for the past 10 years. She immediately went for the ASF so it's safe to say that they're a hit for her. There wasn't any dry ice left in the box but the ASFs were still cold (but not frozen) so that was new but I do plan to order again.
